Gitanes is the oldest hull in the fleet by a wide margin, launched by Benetti in 1982, more than four decades before most of the tonnage working the same waters today. That vintage is worth being direct about. She isn't competing on modern volume or the latest stabilization technology, she's offering something a new build can't: the proportions and profile of a Benetti from an earlier era of Mediterranean yachting, at 116 feet one of the larger classic hulls still in active charter service.

Four staterooms sleep up to 10 guests, with a crew of 6 running the yacht at a scale suited to her size and age, more hands-on attention than a similarly sized modern build would typically carry. That larger crew complement is common on older tonnage, where systems and layouts often call for more manual oversight than current construction.

Gitanes cruises seven distinct areas along the French Riviera, Monaco, Provence, Corsica, and Italy's mainland, Sardinia, and Sicily coasts, a broad western Mediterranean range that suits guests drawn to her history as much as her itinerary.
