Lurssen OMEGA Under Construction

Moran Yacht & Ship is proud to announce the sale of Project OMEGA, a 402′ (122.5m) Lurssen new construction superyacht with delivery scheduled for 2029. This is our 25th Lurssen new construction project and the second we have built for this owner.

Moran Yacht & Ship sold the project, authored the full technical specification, negotiated the contract and all project details, and will provide complete build oversight through delivery. OMEGA follows the successful delivery of the 400′ (122m) Lurssen KISMET, which received the Motor Yacht of the Year award at the 2025 World Superyacht Awards.

Design & Naval Architecture

OMEGA features a striking exterior and interior design by the acclaimed British studio RWD, whose portfolio includes some of the most recognized superyachts afloat. With a gross tonnage of 5,200GT, a beam of 55’1″ (16.8m), and a draft of 14’9″ (4.5m), she will be among the largest superyachts under construction anywhere in the world.

The design prioritizes both grand entertaining spaces and intimate private areas across multiple decks. RWD’s vision balances clean modern lines with warm, livable interiors suited to extended cruising and global travel.

Guest Experience

OMEGA will accommodate 20 guests across 10 staterooms, each designed to offer the privacy and comfort expected at this level. Key onboard features include:

A full-beam beach club with direct access to the water. A dedicated dive center equipped for both recreational and technical diving. Expansive outdoor deck spaces designed for entertaining, dining al fresco, and relaxation. Generous tender and toy storage to support a full range of water sports and shore excursions.

About the Build

Lurssen, based in Bremen, Germany, is one of the world’s preeminent custom superyacht builders, with a heritage spanning over 145 years. The yard currently has 11 projects in various stages of development, including several vessels over 100 meters.

Moran Yacht & Ship’s construction management team works on-site at the shipyard throughout the build process, representing the owner’s interests at every stage from steel cutting through sea trials and final delivery. Our role extends beyond oversight. We serve as the bridge between the owner’s vision and the shipyard’s execution, ensuring the project stays on schedule, on specification, and on budget.
