Few charter yachts in the 173-foot class can point to three distinct identities. Delivered by Oceanco in 2000 as Sunrise, then reflagged as Acclaim before her current owners renamed her Friendship, this 52.8-meter motor yacht carries the kind of layered history that comes only with two decades at sea and a 2022 refit that brought her systems and finishes current. Exterior styling comes from The A Group, with J.P. Fantini Design responsible for the interior, a pairing that gives the yacht a lasting, understated look rather than a dated early 2000s feel.

The layout centers on a full-beam, split-level owner's suite on the main deck, complete with a private study, dressing room, forward-facing king bed, and its own outdoor terrace with a spa pool, a configuration still uncommon on yachts of this vintage. Five additional staterooms, three doubles and two twins, all ensuite, bring total guest capacity to 12 across six cabins, with a crew of 12 on hand. Families will find the onboard gym and dedicated children's playroom useful additions, and the water toy inventory (Jet Skis, a paddleboard, sea scooter, trampoline, wakeboard, water skis, and towables) covers most active charter itineraries without needing to bring in outside operators. Twin MTU engines deliver a 14.5-knot cruise and 16.1-knot top speed, with quantum zero-speed stabilizers keeping things steady both underway and at anchor.

Friendship is booked for the Summer 2026 season across one of the broadest cruising footprints on the charter market: the French Riviera and Monaco, Malta, the Provence coast and Marseille, Corsica, mainland Italy north and south, Sardinia, Sicily, Albania, the Ionian and Aegean/Cyclades regions of Greece, and Cyprus. That range gives charterers real flexibility to build a multi-region itinerary in a single booking rather than working around a fixed home port.
