FAST & FURIOUS Yacht for Sale: 44.6m (146ft) AB Yachts
FAST & FURIOUS is a 146-foot (44.6-meter) AB Yachts sport yacht, hull number 145/01, delivered in 2016 and refitted with a full repaint in 2025. She is built for owners who measure a yacht by how quickly it turns a 200-mile leg into a morning, and who would rather anchor in six feet of water off a sandbar than wait for a marina berth.
Triple waterjets and a four-foot draft
Three MTU 16V2000 M94 diesels, 2,600 hp apiece, drive triple waterjets for a top speed of 42 knots and a fast cruise around 37 to 38 knots. Waterjet propulsion is the whole design argument here. There are no shafts, props, or rudders below the hull line, which puts her maximum draft at roughly four feet one inch (1.3m). For a 146-foot yacht that is remarkable, and it opens up shallow bays, sandbars, and secondary harbors that displacement yachts of the same length cannot reach. It also means precise low-speed handling in tight marinas without tender assistance, and no exposed running gear to damage on a grounding.
The hull is fiberglass (GRP), planing, with roughly 6,200 gallons (23,500 liters) of fuel and 1,480 gallons (5,600 liters) of fresh water aboard. Gross tonnage is 338, which keeps her inside a favorable regulatory band for a yacht of this volume.
Accommodation for ten guests in five cabins
Five staterooms sleep up to ten guests, arranged as four doubles and one twin. The master suite carries a drop-down balcony, so the owner's cabin opens directly onto the water at anchor. The interior, designed in house by AB Yachts, runs patterned woods against warm neutrals, which reads as considered rather than fashionable and has aged well against the high-gloss trends of the same build years.
Crew accommodation supports a working complement of seven to eight, appropriate for the yacht's volume and service level without the payroll of a larger displacement vessel.
Deck layout and beach club
Living space runs from the foredeck through the sun deck to a full beach club aft, with a garage sized for tenders and jet skis. A party deck and bar were added in recent work, giving her a dedicated entertaining zone separate from the main salon. The lower deck carries a gym and a separate office, which is unusual at this length and matters to owners who actually work from the boat rather than only vacation on it.
Condition and refit
She completed a 2025 refit including a full repaint. For a nine-year-old fiberglass hull, a recent repaint plus documented maintenance is the single biggest factor in what a buyer will spend in the first two seasons of ownership. Full survey history, engine hours, class, and flag records are available on request.
Why an AB Yachts 145
AB Yachts, part of the Next Yacht Group, has built its reputation on exactly one thing: waterjet-driven fiberglass sport yachts that go faster than anything of comparable volume. The 145 sits at the top of that range. Buyers cross-shopping her are typically looking at 130 to 165-foot semi-displacement yachts and discovering they trade ten knots and several feet of draft for a similar amount of interior volume. If speed and shoal-water access are on the brief, the field narrows very quickly.
