ZEN QUEST Yacht Charter

ZEN QUEST is a Lagoon 620, the design that took third place in the ARC 2016 Multihull Class A, a rare ocean-racing credential for a cruising catamaran this size. Built in 2014, she carries a 10-meter beam on a 62-foot hull, wide even by 620 standards, and this particular yacht runs just 3 cabins for 6 guests rather than the 5- or 6-cabin layouts many charter operators fit into the same platform. The tradeoff is space: full-beam cabins, a private saloon opening directly onto the cockpit, and a flybridge built for a crowd rather than a squeeze.

A crew of three runs the boat at a 1-to-2 guest ratio, more attentive than most catamaran charters at this size manage.

ZEN QUEST cruises Fiji and French Polynesia, two of the more remote corners of the charter map. A 1,300-liter fuel capacity and a 200-nautical-mile daily range under power matter more out here than they do in the Mediterranean, where the next marina is never far off. Few charter fleets operate this deep into the Pacific, and fewer still do it in a catamaran built for the crossing rather than adapted for it.

ZEN QUEST cruises Fiji, French Polynesia.
