Kevin Morgan serves as Fleet Manager, DPA, and CSO, and heads Moran Yacht Management, overseeing the regulatory, technical, and operational management of some of the world’s most sophisticated superyachts. He has managed vessels ranging from 30 to over 140 meters and specializes in regulatory compliance, flag state administration, and yacht operations worldwide.
Kevin grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he developed an early interest in boating on the Great Lakes. Before settling into yachting, he climbed Mount Kilimanjaro and spent three months on an expedition through the Australian Outback, later earning dual degrees in Business and Sociology.
He started his career aboard the 55-meter Amels Step One, working in operations before moving ashore to Moran Yacht Management. In the 14 years since, he’s worked directly with owners, captains, shipyards, flag administrations, classification societies, and contractors across every stage of a yacht’s lifecycle: new construction, delivery, warranty, regulatory compliance, and daily operations.
Kevin takes a hands-on, detail-oriented approach to fleet management. Owners and captains who work with him get direct, responsive support, whether that means resolving a compliance issue with a flag state or coordinating a shipyard warranty claim.
