Completed Lurssen Superyacht Build Project O3
Moran Yacht & Ship is proud to have played a role in bringing O3 to life. Originally developed by our new construction team (ex Project SHACKLETON), this project represents one of the most technically ambitious superyachts built in recent memory, and we are delighted to see her delivered.
Her exterior and naval architecture were first developed by Norwegian studio Salt Ship Design, reflected in her axe-style bow and forward-sited superstructure, before being significantly restyled by Espen Øino. Her interiors have been conceived by CG Design.
O3 features an ice-classed hull suitable for polar cruising and is diesel-electric powered, with highlights including a beach club, elevator, swimming pool, helipad, and an expansive aft deck for tender and toy stowage. Her original specification includes significant cargo-carrying capability and deck areas suited to extended expeditions. With an internal volume in excess of 6,000GT, she accommodates up to 20 guests.
Her power comes from Wärtsilä diesel-electric engines. She has a 17.5m beam and is built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure.
Upon delivery, O3 ranks among the largest superyachts in the world, joining an impressive roster of over-100m projects that continue to demonstrate our enduring excellence in bespoke yacht building at the highest level.
