Lurssen Project GRANDE Under Construction

Lürssen 98m Project Grande sold

Little has been disclosed about PROJECT GRANDE

A 98 metre new build superyacht known as Project Grande has been sold by Moran Yacht & Ship and will be built at German yard Lürssen.

It’s for an American client who has been a great client of ours for 15 years,” said Moran Yacht & Ship president Rob Moran at Monaco Yacht Show. “We’ve built many boats for him before.

The design of PROJECT GRANDE was completed by Eidsgaard Design and described by Moran as really unique.

The superyacht has a 12 metre swimming pool, a huge spa and big diving areas. It will be helicopter-ready, storing a helicopter on the bow, and capable of worldwide cruising.

It’s assumed Project Grande will accommodate 20 guests as Moran declared there would be 10 suites on board.

No other details have been reported about this Lürssen yacht, but details are expected to be disclosed in the 2017 Global Order Book, published in ShowBoats International later this year.

Project Grande is just one of many huge Lürssens commissioned by Moran Yacht & Ship. The largest completed project was Kismet. Measuring 95.2 metres long, she was and delivered in 2014. At 139 metres long, Project Redwood is the largest Moran Yacht & Ship construction project currently underway at the German yard, with an expected delivery date of 2019.
