Located just outside Agrigento, the park is home to eight fascinating Greek temples built between the 5th and 6th centuries BC. The most notable is the Temple of Concordia, widely considered one of the best-preserved Greek ruins anywhere in the world.

The reserve’s coastline stretches for about 7 km (4 miles) and is home to a remarkable range of flora and fauna. The clear water here is particularly special for swimming and snorkeling.

Located right on the water’s edge along the Ionian coast, berth in Siracusa’s picturesque harbor and explore its cobbled streets lined with shops, galleries, and local eateries serving up delicious Sicilian cuisine. The city is also home to numerous, well-preserved Greek and Roman ruins, including an amphitheatre and gladiatorial ring.

Sicily yacht charter pricing typically starts at around US$200,000 per week and can exceed one million for the most exceptional superyachts. Rates depend on the vessel’s size, the charter duration, and your cruising route, with premium pricing for sought-after builds from shipyards like Feadship, Lurssen, Oceanco, and Heesen, especially during high season.

In addition to the base charter fee, an Advanced Provisioning Allowance (APA) is collected upfront to cover variable expenses such as fuel, food and beverage, berthing fees, and on-land excursions. Your broker will estimate the APA based on your itinerary. At the end of the charter, the captain provides a full cost breakdown, and any unused APA funds are refunded.

Sicily and the Aeolian Islands are popular yachting destinations, so we always recommend booking as far in advance as possible to secure the best selection of luxury yachts, particularly for peak season. That said, last-minute charters can sometimes be arranged with flexibility on vessel and dates. Contact the team at Moran Yacht & Ship and we’ll find the best option for your timeline.

Sicily is part of Italy and the European Union. EU passport holders can enter visa-free and stay indefinitely. US passport holders can travel visa-free for up to 90 days, provided the passport is valid with an expiration date at least three months beyond their planned departure.
