LAUREL — 240' Delta Mega Yacht for Sale
LAUREL is a 240' (73.2m) Delta Marine tri-deck motor yacht delivered in 2006 with exterior design by Delta Design Group and interior by Donald Starkey. At her launch she was the largest yacht ever built in the United States, and she remains one of the most significant American-built superyachts of the past two decades. A striking blue hull paired with a white composite superstructure, 1,595 GT of interior volume, and a displacement steel platform gives her genuine world-ocean presence. A 2014 refit elevated her interior to a more timeless register, and a 2023 yard period delivered fresh hull paint, new teak on the foredeck, and additional interior upgrades.
Her engineering is scaled for serious transoceanic use. Twin Caterpillar 3516B HD engines at 2,500 hp each deliver an 18-knot top speed and a 7,000-nautical-mile range, while four Quantum zero-speed stabilizers hold her steady both underway and at anchor. She carries Lloyd's UMS and LMC classifications and is MCA, LYC, and ISM compliant, supporting both a proven charter program and private worldwide cruising. A touch-and-go helipad and a full-displacement hull complete the long-range package. LAUREL is one of a small number of yachts in her size class with full wheelchair accessibility and a six-stop elevator serving all five decks, from the beach club to the sun deck.
Accommodations host up to 17 guests across 7 staterooms. The on-deck owner's suite is a world of its own, accessed through a private entryway leading to a lounge and office that opens to a king cabin with his-and-hers en-suites, flanked by fixed balconies to port and starboard. A spiral staircase set against an underwater glass scene descends to the guest deck, where four identical king-bed staterooms, a queen stateroom, and a convertible cabin with a Pullman berth offer configurations from intimate couples' charters to multi-generational family use. Deck life is staged across five levels, with a sun deck extending fore and aft of a central observation room, a forward belvedere terrace, a sun-deck jacuzzi, a fully enclosed air-conditioned gym, a dedicated cinema, and a stern beach club created when the transom door folds down. A professional crew of 24 supports the program. LAUREL is currently located in West Palm Beach, Florida, and available for viewing by appointment.
