EMERALD — 165' Feadship Superyacht for Sale

EMERALD is a 165' (50.4m) Feadship superyacht that carries one of the most respected names in yachting but functions like a vessel half her age. Originally delivered in 1990 and built on a steel hull with naval architecture by De Voogt, she underwent an extensive two-year rebuild at Balk Shipyard in the Netherlands beginning in 2021. The scope was serious: a hull extension bringing her to 50.4 meters, a complete interior redesign by British studio Design Unlimited, new navigation and AV/IT systems throughout, Quantum zero-speed extendable stabilizers, a redesigned mast and superstructure archway, and a fresh paint scheme in Orion Green hull with Aquila White superstructure. Her engines and generators, new in 2015, have been fully serviced. She accommodates 12 guests in six staterooms with a crew of 11 and was a finalist at the 2024 Boat International World Superyacht Awards.

The rebuilt interior reflects her European owners' vision of a genuine home at sea, executed with modern restraint rather than flash. The main deck features a forward-facing master suite with an adjoining VIP, while four additional guest cabins sit on the lower deck. An open-plan main saloon connects the lounge and dining through a subtle partition, and the galley has been fully reconfigured with commercial-grade equipment. The bridge deck saloon was extended during the refit, and the bridge deck cockpit now uses a single crane for toy handling, converting to an open-air lounge and leisure space when cleared. Every crew area was also overhauled, including a new crew mess, laundry, cold stores, and additional engineer's cabin on the lower deck.

The topside is where the rebuild yields the most significant benefits. The extended sundeck now hosts a large spa bath forward, dedicated seating areas, sunbeds, and a wet bar. At 478 GT with a 14-knot top speed and the reliability of Feadship construction underpinning everything, EMERALD offers the volume and pedigree of a Dutch-built 50-meter with the systems and condition of a near-new yacht. Currently lying in Cap-d'Ail on the French Riviera and ready for immediate Mediterranean cruising, she represents a rare opportunity to own a reborn Feadship at a fraction of the new-build cost and timeline.

EMERALD is currently located in France in Cap-d'Ail, Provence-Alpes-Cote-d'Azur.
