BAD COMPANY SUPPORT — 150' Damen Yachting Superyacht for Sale

Bad Company Support is not a traditional superyacht. She's a 150-foot Damen Yacht Support vessel with a Sea Axe wave-piercing bow, a 5,000 nautical mile range, a 6.7-ton heavy-duty crane, and 120 square meters of open deck space that can carry boats, vehicles, dive equipment, fishing gear, or serve as a helicopter landing pad. Built by Damen in the Netherlands in 2019 and refitted in 2022, she was originally delivered as Joy Rider and later operated as Pink Shadow, supporting the 53-meter sailing yacht Pink Gin. Her current owner, a world-class sport fisherman, acquired her in 2021 and configured her as a self-sufficient live-aboard adventure platform. He's selling because Damen delivered his custom-built replacement, a larger YS 53, in 2024. We are releasing this vessel in exceptional condition, turnkey ready, having fulfilled her built-for mission.

What makes Bad Company Support rare is the combination of expedition capability with genuine comfort. Her steel hull and aluminum superstructure sit on a shallow 9-foot (2.7m) draft, giving her access to remote anchorages and shallow bays that vessels of this size normally cannot reach. Quantum zero-speed stabilizers keep her steady at anchor and underway. Twin Caterpillar C32 engines (900kW each) push her to 17 knots, with comfortable cruising at 12 knots and a 90,000-liter fuel capacity that delivers that 5,000 nm range. Three cabins accommodate 6 guests: a forward master with a queen bed and en suite, plus two twin cabins aft with en suites. The interior contrasts sharply with the rugged exterior, with a vibrant, colorful design throughout and custom art on her bow. Crew quarters handle 7, and three Caterpillar C4.4 generators provide shore-level power. The open main deck can transform from toy storage to party venue to yoga studio to gym, depending on what the owner wants on any given day.

The market for proven Damen Yacht Support vessels is exceptionally tight. These hulls hold their value because they do things no other platform can: they cross oceans, they operate independently in remote waters, they carry the toys and tenders that make expeditions possible, and they do it all with a crew of 7 and the operating costs that come with 309 GT. Whether the buyer's intent is standalone expedition use, tandem support for a primary yacht, or a serious sportfishing mothership, Bad Company Support is purpose-built for the task. The vessel is currently located in the Canary Islands and is available for viewing.

BAD COMPANY SUPPORT is currently located in Spain in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Canary Islands.
