AZUL V — 158' Crn Superyacht for Sale
AZUL V is a 158' (48.2m) CRN superyacht delivered in 1996 from the Italian shipyard's Ancona facility, with exterior lines by Paolo Scanu, interiors by Francois Zuretti, and naval architecture by George Nicholson in collaboration with CRN. Built on a full-displacement steel hull with an aluminum superstructure and Lloyd's Register class, she carries a generous 543 GT across three decks on a 30-foot (9.1m) beam. Twin Deutz engines deliver a 17-knot top speed with a comfortable 12-knot cruising speed, and her full-displacement hull configuration makes her capable of genuine ocean crossings with stabilizers underway. In 2015, she underwent a significant rebuild at Compositeworks in La Ciotat, France, that included a full hull restoration, restored teak decks, zero-hour engines, revamped technical spaces, refitted crew quarters, and new audio/visual systems. That rebuild earned her a Judges' Commendation for Achievement at the 2016 World Superyacht Awards.
Zuretti's interiors favor understated warmth over ostentation: high-quality wood finishes, Italian marble, and a calm cream palette that creates spaces designed for extended living, not just weekend showing. The full-beam master suite on the main deck features a king bed, private study, dressing room, his-and-hers marble bathroom with bathtub, and wide port and starboard windows flooding the space with natural light, with no side decks forward to guarantee complete privacy. On the lower deck, an equally impressive full-beam VIP stateroom includes a separate lounge area that can be closed off for additional flexibility. Four more staterooms across the lower and main decks round out accommodation for up to 11 guests across six cabins, all with en suite facilities. The upper deck saloon is expansive, fitted with brand new upholstery on plush seating and intimate corners with game tables for smaller gatherings, while a formal dining room on the main deck aft adapts easily from large-party entertaining to more intimate meals.
The sundeck is where AZUL V shines for tropical living: a jacuzzi, swim-up wet bar, chaise lounges, oversized sunpads, and shade provided by a Satcom arch and awning. She carries a full complement of water toys and has proven herself as a popular charter yacht in Southeast Asia, where she currently operates from Langkawi, Malaysia. At her asking price, AZUL V sits at roughly €17,900 per GT, well below the industry average of €33,000 per GT for comparable vessels. With an exceptionally well-managed operational budget, a crew of 11, and a fully stabilized platform ready for both private use and charter income, she represents one of the strongest value propositions in the 50-meter class.
AZUL V is currently located in Malaysia in Langkawi, Kedah.
