Built by Lurssen in 2010, BELLA VITA pairs the build quality of Germany's most storied shipyard with an exterior design by Espen Oeino and a warm, contemporary interior by Glade Johnson Design. At 60 meters with an 11.4-meter beam and 1,218 GT spread across five decks, she delivers the kind of volume and finish that Lurssen is known for: handcrafted woods, contrasting fabrics, carefully considered lighting, and a design language built around clean right angles and strong horizontal lines, softened throughout by natural stone and rich textural patterns. Oeino's exterior gives her a sleek, modern profile with large geometric windows that flood every interior space with natural light. She accommodates 12 guests in six staterooms, all with king-size beds: a full-beam master suite on the main deck with a marble en suite featuring a whirlpool bath and aromatic steam shower, a VIP stateroom on the bridge deck with its own private position, and four additional guest cabins on the lower deck. A crew of 15 operates throughout.
BELLA VITA's living spaces are built for both formal entertaining and extended family cruising. The main salon opens to a rich dining room finished in dark woods, while the sky lounge on the bridge deck features a fireplace and full bar that opens aft to a shaded alfresco dining area. A dedicated cinema room, library, beauty salon, and fully equipped gym round out the interior amenities. The gym doubles as a full disco with laser lights, DJ mixing decks, and a smoke machine. On deck, a sundeck Jacuzzi and sunpads sit alongside an open bar, with the beach club aft providing direct water access from a generous teak swim platform. An elevator connects all decks, and a touch-and-go helipad and zero-speed stabilizers complete the specification. Twin Caterpillar 3512B engines deliver a top speed of 16 knots, a cruising speed of 12 knots, and a range of 5,000 nautical miles. A full main engine rebuild is underway for 2025, delivering her in like-new mechanical condition following comprehensive refits in 2021 and 2024.
A Lurssen build with an Espen Oeino exterior at $45 million represents a rare entry point into one of the most respected builder names in the world. BELLA VITA has been continuously maintained and upgraded, and she is currently lying in Marseille, France.
