HIGHLANDER Yacht Charter

Few charter yachts carry a guest list like HIGHLANDER's. Built by Feadship in 1985 to a design by Jon Bannenberg for publishing magnate Malcolm Forbes, she became the center of one of the most sociable decks in yachting history, hosting Mick Jagger, Elizabeth Taylor, Paul McCartney, Ronald Reagan, Gianni Agnelli, and then Prince Charles, now King Charles III, among many others. That history has been carried forward rather than left behind: her design language still traces to Bannenberg's original vision through subsequent refit work guided by his design legacy, most recently a refit completed to exacting standards in 2026.

That 2026 work brought her sundeck up to current standards with a fresh teak deck, and the original helipad has been removed to open up usable deck space, a change not yet reflected in the yacht's existing marketing photography, so charterers should expect the deck layout to look different in person than in current listing images. Below deck, HIGHLANDER accommodates 12 guests plus one supernumerary across 7 cabins, with a crew of 11 on hand. She cruises comfortably at 13 knots and carries quantum zero-speed stabilizers, keeping things steady for guests more interested in the yacht's history and hospitality than in covering distance quickly.

HIGHLANDER is available for the Summer 2026 season cruising the UK and Northern Ireland, Ireland, the Netherlands, and the Baltic Sea, a Northern European itinerary well suited to charterers looking to combine a historic yacht with a region she has genuine ties to, rather than a standard Mediterranean or Caribbean run.

HIGHLANDER cruises UK & Northern Ireland, Ireland, Netherlands, Baltic Sea.
