Custom-built in every respect, APOSTROPHE features an elegant exterior profile from the boards of Reymond Langton Design Ltd., which was also responsible for the contemporary Art Deco interior. With naval architecture by Diana Yacht Design, exceptional support from Moran Yacht and Ship, and an owner determined to build the finest Hakvoort to date, APOSTROPHE is a testimony to how magnificent things can be achieved when people truly cooperate together.

The modern design by Reymond Langton features coloured tones, black windows and a striking grey hull, with contrast being offered by the gleaming white superstructure. A wealth of complex shapes in the profile combine with long-running lines from bow to stern to create a unique look. The curved windows in the owner’s area on the main deck are very special and mirrored in the sky lounge above. Taken as a whole, all these aspects make APOSTROPHE look significantly longer than 40 metres.

The contemporary art deco interior features ebonised walnut and makassar joinery with lots of mother-of-pearl inlays, plus a wealth of fine detailing in stainless steel, brushed nickel and leather. APOSTROPHE's main entrance is extraordinary – an open stairwell with a custom designed chandelier from Crystal Caviar. The latter company also supplied various artworks, including a glass piece in the bathroom with curved backlit panels and underwater motifs.

The full beam master stateroom on the main deck includes a fabulous bathroom furthest forward completely finished in Onyx marble. The stateroom itself has panoramic views through the curved windows and the owner’s area also includes a walk-in dressing room and office. Four guest suites on the lower deck each have their own individual style including in the bathrooms, reflecting the vast range of materials and fabrics used throughout the boat.

There are two (2) cabins in the fore ship with two bunks over each other and the crew mess at starboardside. 

Two (2) bathrooms with shower cabin, head and a wash basin with hot and cold water.

At starboard side a mess room is arranged with large seating area with vinyl upholstered seats with stowage under. Table with folding leaf to seat two extra people. Further lockers, drawers, book shelves and an entertainment unit with LCD flat screen TV, DVD player and stereo as well as the alarm system repeater panel and CCTV monitor. Mess room equipped with refridgerator, icemaker and microwave.

At portside. Floor is Forbo type Surestep, walls and ceilings  lined with hard plastic. Arranged with lockers under the bunk for linen storage.Has: ­ 2 Miele household stacked type washing machines, type W3523 cap. 5 kg, ­ 2 Miele household stacked type tumble dryers, type T4463C cap. 5 kg, ­ 1 foldable ironing board with steam iron.

All four cabins with two single beds. Each sleeping position in the aft two cabins have a bed­chest with doors, shelves, etc. The two forward cabins have a single bed­chest. The bed in the aft portside cabin is a double bed folding into the aft wall. 

Four bathrooms, three with a large shower
The bathroom of the starboard aft cabin has a bathtub with a overhead and handheld shower.  


The bathroom arranged forward of the owners stateroom with shower cabin with fixed head and wall showers, Two countertops with single wash basins with lockers under, two toilets and Jacuzzi bath with hand held shower.

The Owner’s stateroom is located forward in the main deck accommodation and equipped with a king­size bed with bed­chests with doors, drawers. 
Port and starboard side equipped with large drawer lockers, at portside a make­up desk, at starboard side a built­in sofa.
At the forward wall an LCD TV  installed fixed in view. At either side of the TV a manually operated curved sliding door giving access to the bathroom. At portside a large walk­in wardrobe with a seat.  Wardrobes with hang rods, shelves, shoe racks, drawer chests, full size mirror and a small safe installed. The floor of the walk­in wardrobe is made of wood.

OWNER’S STUDY equipped with sofa, desk and build-in full height locker.

Main hall with circular stairway to guest quarters and sky lounge.Powder room with head and basin just forward of lobby area. Double entrance doors with on the inside sliding fashion doors.

With dining table for 10 guests, lower lockers with doors, drawers and shelves. The cupboards at starboardside in the salon have a large flat screen TV on a lift + DVD recorder/player. Also four built­in cabinets with storage for glasswork, china and bottles.
Seats, sofa’s and tables arranged with a large built­in 5 seat sofa.  Built­in half height cabinets with storage facilities at PS and SB side in the dining.

Aft deck arranged as seating area with a large U­shaped sofa to seat 8 people. One large fixed teak table  arranged on stainless steel pedestals. The bar is located at SB side. The entrance to the saloon by means of electrically operated sliding doors. In the bar a fridge, icemaker and sink  installed. At PS a shoe storage with fan installed. Stairways at port and starboard side are leading down to the integrated swimming platform.
Fixed sofas have spring loaded accessible watertight hatches underneath the cushions including gutter, drains and stainless steel locks.


Special care taken to achieve enough headroom also in a bad seaway and in the lay­out the consoles so that everything is easily accessible. Hoods arranged in such a way that reflections in the windscreen is positively prevented.

Captain’s cabin at portside with a double bed. Wardrobe equipped with automatic lighting and a shoe rack and  veneered internally.

Floor a combination of woolen carpet with wood. At centre line aft electrically operated sliding doors with eyes at floor and knee level.


Two oval­shaped build in sunbeds at PS and SB side and at centerline a built­in sofa with a large teak table with storage space in the seat of the sofa. At portside there is stairs leading from the main deck to bridge deck and further to the sundeck. One large 8 person dining table with a teak top at centerline. At SB side a cabinet, icemaker, fridge and BBQ.  Fixed sofas have spring loaded accessible watertight hatches underneath including gutter, drains and stainless steel locks.


Forward a bar/servery area with sink, BBQ, fridge and icemaker.
Further open deck space for sun loungers. Forward a large round 6 person Jacuzzi. At port and SB side of the Jacuzzi large built in sun beds arranged. The fixed sofas and sun pads have accessible watertight storage within for cushions etc. A fixed shower installed in the A­mast overhead.
