The 85 Pacific Mariner is an American built motor-yacht, known to be one the best running yachts on the water and was derived from naval architect "Bill Garden" who was known for very efficient yachts like the Westport 130 and 164. "Bill Garden" would call most boats "Push Waters".

She was designed before being built for the right length with beam, the right horsepower and extremely methodical of weight, or for that matter keeping weight off.
