After a long career aboard Super Yachts and many miles traversing the globe Anne decided to return to the country of her birth. It was a natural progression to move into Yacht Management with her knowledge and skills achieved in the Superyacht industry to date. Appointed to her position with Moran Yacht Management in March 2013 after sitting qualifications for her role in accounting. Anne is the general accounts manager over the UK fleet of vessels under management and is the first point of contact for Captains and Crew for the smooth day to day operations of the vessels finances.
Claire has a strong background in business and finance administration. Working in the leisure and holiday industry before assisting in the development, importing and selling of crew footwear. Claire has a personal love of sailing and was delighted to be able to join Moran Yacht Management assisting with the financial administration of our vessels
Simon began his career in yachting in Lymington in 1983. After a period with Brookes & Gatehouse, Portsmouth Poly and Incastec Simon went to sea quickly rising to Chief Engineer. After 10 years at sea Simon’s career shifted to new build construction. Working with the team at Moran Yacht & Ship, Simon has worked on many new build yacht construction projects in various roles from technical consultant, production superintendent, project manager and Owner’s representative. Developing a structured and streamlined new build program which ensures the Owner enjoys and value maximised through implementation of knowledge & efficiency.
Simon now heads up the UK office of Moran Yacht Management bringing strong technical and construction knowledge and developing a top end management services for our clients.
After engineering training and a career in the Royal Air Force, Patrick joined the Yachting industry in 1996. Spending several years as Chief engineer and achieving his Y1 3000gt 9000kw licence Patrick joined Simon on the new construction team with Moran Yacht & Ship.
Patrick now heads up the technical management side of business ensuring the yachts under management are maintained and giving the Engineering departments all the support they need from a technical side.
After qualifying AAT in 1997 Christien furthered her accountancy training by joining the Guardian Media Group assisting the Financial Controller of the commercial radio sector. This was followed by a move in to the construction industry as a Company Accountant. Prior to joining Moran Yacht Management Christien was running the accounting function of a large property management company. Christien joined Moran Yacht Management in November 2011 and is responsible for the UK finance operation and oversees the yacht management finance department.
