BAGLIETTO 48M New Construction Project For Sale

BAGLIETTO 48M epitomises Italian manufacturing excellence, with unparalleled aesthetic appeal and a long tradition behind her, recalling in each and every detail the identity of a shipbuilder with a history that goes back over 160 years. The 48-metre yacht has a steel displacement hull with aluminium superstructure and a Gross Tonnage of below 500.

The exterior of superyacht was designed by Francesco Paszkowski Design and the interior has been developed by the Interior Design Department of the shipyard, in collaboration with the Monacobased studio Boutsen Design.

The vessel boasts over 350sqm of luxurious space inside, allowing ample room for many new features. The exterior spaces are vast, with the sundeck alone sprawling across 140sqm of al fresco space, including dining space, a sunbathing area, and an infinity pool. The upper deck also includes a second al fresco dining area.

The layout is traditional, with four guest cabins on the lower deck and a full-width owner cabin on the main deck. Entering the main deck from the stern and walking past the standard cockpit, which features a large sofa and various chairs, you reach an indoor- and outdoor-facing bar area. The first thing that strikes you on board BAGLIETTO 48M is the welcoming, brightly-lit atmosphere. This is undoubtedly in part thanks to the large, full-height windows, which are increasingly popular on yachts of this type, making them look like real luxury villas, but it also stems from the hues and materials chosen to decorate the spaces.

The colour palette is based on a contrast between white, used predominantly for the bulkheads, ceilings, sofas and carpet, and the brown of the Italian and black walnut used for the cabin planking and to accentuate certain details on vertical surfaces. All of this is then enhanced by a few splashes of colour, gold objects, bronzed brass and works by the artists Arcangelo, Barnils, Velez and Shafik from the Marcorossi gallery in Pietrasanta.

The design of the interior is restrained, yet highly elegant and refined. As well as the colours and materials, the interiors stand out for the linear design of the surfaces and the slanting stylistic details that help to give personality to the bulkheads, furniture and carpets. The sitting area is separated from the dining area by an original wall, inlaid with fabric and steel and a mirrored section, which increases the feeling of space inside. A large television is also incorporated within the bulkhead. Various standard sofas by Flexform have been chosen for the living room, while the 12-seater marble and steel dining table is bespoke, designed especially for the owner.

Heading towards the bow on the starboard side, past the lobby with its large, square central staircase, you enter the owner suite – a walk-in closet and an office, followed by a full-width cabin. The abundant natural light brings out the colours and allows you to appreciate all the details. The planking is covered with a dove grey carpet with darker, contrasting oblique lines, recalling the hues used for the furnishings, while the upright surfaces of the bookcase are also slanted.

Two 3512 C DITA-SCAC Caterpillar engines allow the ship to reach a comfortable top speed of 16 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots. In addition, BAGLIETTO 48M is in the highest class of the Lloyds Register of Shipping.
