Warren Yachts is part of the Shipworks Group of Brisbane, Australia. The Warren/Shipworks facility is the newest and largest state-of-the-art superyacht shipyard in the southern hemisphere. Its capabilities provide for the highest level of quality in every stage of superyacht construction up to 300 feet. There are few yards in the world with the depth of personnel and equipment, and the size and expertise to offer custom and semi-custom construction to the standards Warren has achieved.

History

Forty years ago Dave Warren began building fast boats in Australia: first, racing sailboats, then big catamarans. Always innovative one-offs and always winners. Seeking perfection in every line, squeezing every fraction of a knot from hull shape and length and engineering solutions out of need and sheer determination, set Dave apart.

The transition from building world-class ocean racing yachts to custom power yachts was natural. The knowledge of hull shape, weight distribution, weight to strength ratios, selection of material, the importance of redundancy and the will to do it better than anyone, provided a solid foundation to create custom motor yachts of truly breakthrough design and uncompromised quality.

Twenty five years ago Dave began building his vision of the custom motor yacht, a vision shared by the most sophisticated of Australian and New Zealand yachtsmen. Influenced by his love of speed and his desire for perfection, Dave built and styled yachts of uncommon elegance and high performance. The employees of the company he assembled also understood that there are no shortcuts, no unsolvable engineering problems, and there is no reason to build less than a perfect yacht.

In 1995, having gained a reputation as a yacht builder with extraordinary capabilities, Dave Warren defined the Super Sport Yacht class with the breakthrough Super Nova. The latest in the Warren Sport Yacht Series is the S87. These are the most elegantly executed yachts Dave and his group have ever conceived and built. The S87 recently won two international “Best in Class” awards: the prestigious SHOWBOATS International, 2006 award for Best Semi-Production Yacht and the YACHTS INTERNATIONAL 2006 trophy for “Best Open Yacht 80” to 100’.
